MITZVAHS WELCOME HERE

“You are performing the exalted duty of brotherhood, not by giving alms or stimulating pauperism, but by acts of justice which leave no sting of shame or of humiliation but arouse a sense of manhood both on the part of him who is aided and of him who lends a helping hand.”

– Louis Marshall, late 19th and early 20th century lawyer and prominent leader in the American Jewish community

Angel Fund

Gifts to the Angel Fund strengthen the foundation of our interest-free lending programs and ensure that DHFLA can assist the greatest number of people. The Fund allows us to make loans to qualified applicants who need an additional or local guarantor to fulfill DHFLA loan requirements. A minimum contribution of $1,000 is required to become a member and participate in the Angel Fund.

Like all gifts to DHFLA, Angel Fund tax-deductible contributions are cycled back into the Fund as loans are repaid to be used to assist new borrowers.

If you are interested in volunteering to be a guarantor for an individual loan, contact us.

Create a Legacy

Include Dallas Hebrew Free Loan Association in your estate plans and join our Legacy Society. Planned gifts make it possible for us to recognize your generosity during your lifetime, and you inspire others to include the Dallas Hebrew Free Loan Association in their estate plans.

Legacy gifts help build a permanent financial base for DHFLA and ensure that we can respond to the evolving needs of the Greater North Texas, North Central Texas, and East Texas Jewish communities for generations to come.

The most common way to give is through a simple bequest in your will or living trust. A bequest can be made for a specific amount, for a percentage of your estate, or for all or a portion of what is left after you have made bequests to your family. You can also name the Dallas Hebrew Free Loan Association as a beneficiary of a retirement plan or life insurance policy.

To discuss planned giving options, contact us. Complete our legacy intent form to let us know that you have included, or plan to include, the Dallas Hebrew Free Loan Association in your estate plans.

DHFLA loans enable our borrowers to be self-sufficient, providing a means to weather financial challenges, pursue their dreams and achieve their goals. Our loans bridge the gap between need and achievement.
