MITZVAHS WELCOME HERE

“You are performing the exalted duty of brotherhood, not by giving alms or stimulating pauperism, but by acts of justice which leave no sting of shame or of humiliation but arouse a sense of manhood both on the part of him who is aided and of him who lends a helping hand.”

– Louis Marshall, late 19th and early 20th century lawyer and prominent leader in the American Jewish community

Angel Fund

Gifts to the Angel Fund strengthen the foundation of our interest-free lending programs and ensure that DHFLA can assist the greatest number of people. The Fund allows us to make loans to qualified applicants who need an additional or local guarantor to fulfill DHFLA loan requirements. A minimum contribution of $1,000 is required to become a member and participate in the Angel Fund.

Like all gifts to DHFLA, Angel Fund tax-deductible contributions are cycled back into the Fund as loans are repaid to be used to assist new borrowers.

If you are interested in volunteering to be a guarantor for an individual loan, contact us.
