Jewish Children’s Adoption Network
The Jewish Children’s Adoption Network seeks to find appropriate adoptive homes for Jewish children. It refers families to the custodial agencies or individuals who know of children in need of a home.

Adoption Consulting: Beverley Lewin has helped families adopt children since 1991. She provides adoption counseling, home study preparation, and post-placement study preparation.

Priya Fund of JFS
The Priya Fund of Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas secures grants to help Jewish couples with expenses associated with adoption and fertility treatment services. Priority is given to Jewish couples without children, but all Jewish couples are eligible to apply. Jewish couples are encouraged to apply for a Priya grant and a DHFLA no interest loan at the same time.

YATOM is a Jewish nonprofit supporting Jewish foster and adoptive parents. It provides education, microgrants, resources and support to Jewish couples or individuals bringing a child into their lives through adoption or foster care.

Jewish Family Service
Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas (JFS) provides personalized financial coaching including help with debt consolidation, budgeting, and more to help individuals, couples and families achieve financial stability. Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support provides safety, shelter and support to women and children experiencing domestic abuse.

Jewish Family Service
Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas (JFS) provides crisis intervention and safety planning, counseling, and support groups for the victims of family violence, as well as professional help for the abuser. Northpoint Health Center—A Jewish Family Service Community Health Center—is a community clinic offering healthcare services for the entire family. DJC Foundation
Dallas Jewish Community Foundation/Southwest Community Foundation offers scholarships for college and graduate students. High school seniors and current college and graduate students from all faiths and backgrounds can apply. The application deadline is January 31st. Jewish students applying for a scholarship can also apply for a DHFLA no interest Higher Education loan. For more information including deadlines and applications click button below.

Jewish Children’s Regional Service (JCRS) provides grants and no interest loans for college or vocational training based on financial need. JCRS scholarship and no interest loans can be used in combination with a DHFLA no interest Higher Education loan.

Dallas Jewish Community Foundation offers scholarships to assist Jewish families with sending children to Jewish day and overnight camp and on Israel teen experiences. Scholarships can be used in combination with a DHFLA no interest Jewish Experience loan, enabling families to affordably cover a greater portion of camp or summer program tuition.

JCRS
Jewish Children’s Regional Service (JCRS) offers need-based partial scholarships for Jewish overnight camp to Jewish children in the third to twelfth grades residing in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Camps must be in the U.S. or Canada. Applications open in November. Scholarships can be used in combination with a DHFLA no interest Jewish Experience loan, enabling families to affordably cover a greater portion of overnight camp tuition.

One Happy Camper
The One Happy Camper Program of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, in partnership with the Foundation for Jewish Camp, offers first-time campers from Greater Dallas who attend a Jewish overnight camp an incentive grant of up to $1,000. Grants can be used in combination with a DHFLA no interest Jewish Experience loan, enabling families to affordably cover a greater portion of overnight camp tuition.

Mother is a locally owned small business providing honest, high-quality plumbing services including second opinions on repairs and other plumbing issues. DHFLA no interest General loans can be used to cover plumbing expenses.

JCRS provides case management and some financial subsidies to families with children with special needs. Financial assistance can be used in combination with a DHFLA no interest Special Needs loan.

JFS Special Needs Partnership
Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas – Special Needs Partnership and Services provides children, adults and their families with special needs with a variety of services. Through the Special Needs Partnership, JFS connects families with resources in the community. Financial assistance can be used in combination with a DHFLA no interest Special Needs loan.
DHFLA loans enable our borrowers to be self-sufficient, providing a means to weather financial challenges, pursue their dreams and achieve their goals. Our loans bridge the gap between need and achievement.

What We Do
Dallas Hebrew Free Loan Association (DHFLA) provides interest-free loans to members of the Jewish communities in Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell and Wise Counties, and any other county inclusive of Wichita Falls, Texarkana, Tyler, Waco and Longview, Texas.
